Pastor Sonja L. Drumgoole has been in ministry over 30 years. At age 20, she received her calling after reconnecting with Christ. She served under the leadership of Elder Joshua Quarles at Tyson Temple, F.B.C.O.L.G. for almost 20 years. She was first licensed as a minister and later was licensed as an Evangelist.  Drumgoole later joined Elder Tyson Rowe of Joshua Temple, serving numerous years in ministry under his leadership.

In 2009, under the auspices of the Master’s Circle Christian Fellowship International, Inc., Bishop Robert E. Wilson, III. ordained her an Elder.  During this time, she was asked to assist the Church of St. Martin de Porres, when their pastor Bishop Bruce E. Greening had to take a sabbatical to deal with a family illness.  She was acting in this capacity for a couple of years when Bishop Greening elevated her to the Spiritual Director. In this capacity, she helped members grow closer to God through worship and spiritual disciplines and helped develop the Lay Ministers in church.

On April 24, 2011, she was elevated to associate pastor by Bishop Greening, and in 2013 was offered the position of pastor.  After carefully praying and seeking God’s direction, she agreed to serve as pastor and on March 23, 2014, she was officially installed by Greening.

She’s taught and evangelized throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, and has fellowshipped with countless churches, teaching and preaching and presiding over bible study and Sunday School.   Drumgoole has been a guest preacher on Heaven 1580 and has presented at women’s conferences and retreats, youth retreats, talk panels, etc.  She loves working with the Homeless, the Ronald McDonald House, and assisting the elderly.  She’s currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministry and Family and Christian Counseling.

She has one child, Aaron, and is the very proud grandmother of his daughter, Arian.  One of her greatest desires is to see Souls saved. She firmly believes her greatest challenge is to encourage people to a life-changing experience in Jesus Christ and to teach the Love of God and His immeasurable and tender mercies.
